Sam Thompson believes their relationship will be immune from the curse.

Strictly curse. Thompson's girlfriend and
Love Island star Zara McDermott is set to take part in the dance competition, but he isn't worried about the infamous curse.
Speaking to
The Mirror, he stressed that Zara will remain loyal to him during her time on the show.
Zara previously cheated on her boyfriend with a music producer when she was taking part in
X Factor: Celebrity. Despite their history, Sam does not believe Zara will cheat again.
"She was 22… so f****** young. You know when you look at them and you go, ‘She ain’t going to do that again?’ I could see in her face," he admitted.
He believes Zara has "a beautiful heart and beautiful soul" and knows she will stand by him.
"You can just tell when someone has a beautiful heart and a beautiful soul and just f***** up."
He added, "You’d be some w***** to have done it yourself and can’t forgive."
Sam and Zara recently celebrated his birthday together. Zara paid tribute to her boyfriend with a moving Instagram post.
"You have taught me not to take life too seriously. You have taught me that laughter is the best medicine, always."
She continued, "I really don’t know what I’d do without you… I absolutely adore you beyond words. Love you endlessly."
Zara will make her
Strictly Come Dancing debut in September.
