Russell Brand seems to be on a roll this week when it comes to acting like an absolute eejit. In fact, we’re betting that Katy Perry is rejoicing over the fact that she’s rid of him if his recent behaviour is anything to go by.
Earlier this week we told you that Russell finally broke his silence about his divorce to Katy by charmingly referring to the singer as an “arse-ache.” Charming right? And if you thought that was the only shot he’d fire at Katy, think again.
The Irish Sun reports that Russell was more than happy to tell Howard Stern, a US radio host, about how happy he was to be able to return to his bed-hopping days.
“If you’ve been on a diet of rice for a while and suddenly Willy Wonka asked you to take over the factory, you’d be kicking over barrels of candy and swimming in a chocolate river,” Russell said.
Let’s just get this straight – Katy and Russell have officially been divorced since Monday, and in that amount of time he’s already called her a pain in the backside and suggested that she was as boring as “rice.” If we were Katy, we’d seriously be grateful that we had gotten rid of him.
And Russell is definitely back to his old playboy ways. Over the past few months he seems to be working his way slowly but surely through all the females within his yoga class. His latest squeeze is a woman called Isabella Brewster.
When quizzed by Howard Stern on the radio, Russell admitted that shortly after he married Katy he found himself thinking: “this isn’t working.”
