It was reported yesterday that Geri Halliwell and Russell Brand had gone their separate ways and while a reconciliation wasn’t impossible then, it might well be now.
The 37 year old lothario has already been spotted and photographed with a mystery girl who doesn’t look unlike his ex-wife Katy Perry.
Russell’s new lady friend has dark hair and pale skin like his ex Katy Perry.
Russell and the dark-haired woman, who he reportedly referred to as his ‘beloved Amy’ according to The Sun this morning, spent a day together in Suffolk earlier this week.
After meeting at a hotel, the pair apparently went for a picnic at Bury’s Cathedral before doing a spot of shopping. They are said to have then checked into the hotel.
If it was anybody else you could probably argue that all of this could be innocent enough. But it is Russell Brand and the couple do look rather close in the pictures. The comic was snapped putting his arm around ‘Amy’ numerous times.
The comic is always seen flirting with women, even those that are happily married.
The news will certainly come as a shock to Geri who apparently enjoyed a number of dates with the self-professed womaniser and expressed a desire to ‘be in a loving relationship.’
Then again, shouldn’t she have looked somewhere other than Russell?
