It turns out Ben Affleck’s training for recent film, Runner Runner, has paid off. The actor has been reportedly banned from playing blackjack at a casino in Las Vegas after being told he was “too good”.Â
Affleck, who played online gambling tycoon in the film, was visiting Sin City on a short break with wife Jennifer Garner when the incident took place.
According to a source the 41-year-old was stopped by security guards at the Hard Rock Casino while playing blackjack, where he was told “you are too good.” The source added that Affleck was allowed to stay and partake in other games.
The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino has disputed the banning claim and according to Fox News they issued a statement referring to the actor as a “valued guest.”
“Mr. Affleck, a valued guest of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, is not banned from our property and is welcome back any time,” the statement read.
Celebrity gossip website TMZ reported that the Goodwill Hunting star was banned from the casino for life after being caught counting cards, a method that  is used to predict the next hand. Card counting is technically not illegal however it is prohibited in casinos all over the world.
