Pregnant Adele has announced that she doesn’t want to raise her child in London because it’s like a “goldfish bowl.”
The 24-year-old singer, who is due to give birth in the coming weeks, and her boyfriend Simon Konecki apparently want to move out of the city when their baby is born.
A source told People magazine: “Neither she nor Simon want to bring up the baby in London. She says it’s like a goldfish bowl. They want to keep a low profile when the baby is born. I think we’ll see even less of her then.” We didn’t think that was possible considering how quiet she’s been of late.
Adele, who is worth millions after the success of her latest album 21, also doesn’t believe that financial stability is the most important thing to give a child.
Adele has had incredible success over the last few years.
“Despite her millions, she is going to give the baby the most important thing of all, love. The baby is very special to have such a special lady as its mother,” the insider explained.
And it seems that Adele’s soon-to-be bundle of joy will be getting all her attention as she plans to keep her music career on the backburner for the moment.
Well, at least we have the James Bond theme tune to keep us happy until she gets back to the studio.
