Rugby player James Lowe has become a dad for the first time.
The sportsman and his wife Arnica welcomed a baby boy on April 25th.
James announced their special news by sharing multiple photos of their baby boy on Instagram.
The proud dad captioned the images, "Welcome to the world son. 25.4.23"
James praised his wife for being a "champion" during labour.
"Mum was an absolute champion, happy and healthy is all we could have asked for!"
Arnica also posted about their new arrival and confirmed their son's name.
The new parents decided to call their baby boy Nico.
"Our perfect baby boy is here. Nico arrived 25th April 2023 and we are so in love," the mum wrote.
Famous faces and fans sent the pair loving messages following their son's birth.
Greg O'Shea wrote, "Class bro. Massive congrats to you and the fam."
"You just know this guy is gonna grow up the be Leinster's second-best winger (after his dad)" one said.
Another added, "Huge congratulations to you both James. Wishing him great health and happiness."
"Delighted for you guys what a team," one wrote.
James and Arnika married in 2022. The New Zealand native married his wife in Las Vegas after deciding to elope.
