Ronan Keating’s son Jack welcomes baby girl in a surprise Instagram post

It's a baby girl!

Love Island star Jack Keating made a surprise announced last night that he has become father. He took to Instagram with a sweet post telling followers of his good news. He captioned the first photo with his newborn baby girl: "Welcome to the world my little Princess'.

Jack who's 23 has not been public about a romantic relationship since leaving the Love Island villa last summer and so the mother of the baby is not known. Her name has also not been revealed as of yet.

It is the first grandchild for father-of-five Ronan Keating, 46, who called his granddaughter a "little cutie" below the post.

Friends and family took to the comments to congratulate Keating including fellow islander Paige Thorne who wrote: "Congratulations hunny!!" Jacks sister Missy also commented a sweet message on the baby announcement: "Cutest little baba. Cannot wait to meet her soon."

Ronan's second wife, Storm replied with a series of heart emojis under the post.

The Irish singer shares eldest child Jack with his ex-wife, Yvonne Connolly, who's also a mum to Missy, 22, and Ali, 17, from the couple's 12 year marriage.

Yvonne wrote on Jack's post: 'I miss her so much already'.

Earlier this month Jack spoke to the Irish Independent said he's still looking for love. He said: "I'm still single and ready to mingle. I’m on Hinge, but I don’t use it too seriously. I dip in every once in a while and I’m enjoying being single.

"People think my account is fake. I’m verified, but they still believe I’m a catfish who’s stolen someone else’s photos. I’m like: 'trust me – I’m the real deal.'"
