Normally seeing your ex moving on to someone new can be a painful experience, but Yvonne Keating has revealed that she has no problem with it. In fact, she’s absolutely delighted that her ex-hubby, Ronan Keating, has found a new love.
The former model ended her 14-year relationship with the Boyzone star earlier this year after it was revealed that he had cheated on her with a dancer. Yvonne is currently seeing John Conroy, a camera man, and according to reports, she has told pals she’s happy that Ronan has started dating Storm Uechtritz, a former X-Factor producer.
“There was no great falling out between them, they still talk a lot and she would have been one of the first people he told about the new relationship,” said a friend of Yvonne’s, speaking to the Irish Daily Mirror.
“Despite everything that happened between them, they still trust each other and do care about how each other is. Yvonne will be delighted he’s managed to move on with his life after the tough time both of them have had to endure,” the friend added.
Ronan and Yvonne were together for 14 years before they split back in April.
According to reports, Yvonne is said to be “really happy” about Ronan’s new relationship and since her split from the singer, she has remained on good terms with him for the sake of their children.
“Whenever he’s home in Ireland they will always meet up for dinner and have a chat about everything,” said the friend.
Ronan’s new relationship comes five months after himself and Yvonne announced their decision to split.
Apparently, Ronan and his new Australian love had been friends for the past two years, but their relationship only turned romantic this year after Storm split from her husband.
Ronan met his new love interest Storm while working on the Australian X-Factor.
“Storm and I have been friends for some time and that has recently evolved into something more serious. We are both really happy,” said Ronan.
And it seems like Storm is pretty serious about Ronan as she has reportedly begun searching for a job in the UK and is considering moving from Australia in order to be closer to Ronan when his stint on the Australian X-Factor ends in November.
“Storm seems happy to move across to the UK with Ronan but just wants to make sure it’s the right decision for her. If she decides pursuing a relationship is the way to go, she won’t have a problem getting a job,” said a source.
“Her experience with the X-Factor and Masterchef in Australia makes her a dream hire,” the source added.
It is believed that Ronan has also told his three young children about his new romance.
