Lead singer of Puddle of Mudd, Wes Scantlin, has been arrested on charges of domestic violence. The frontman apparently shook his ex-wife in the middle of a restaurant.
Several witnesses reported that Scantlin shook his ex-wife in the restaurant and then tried to drag her by her sleeve. The police were called to the restaurant at about 3.30pm yesterday afternoon, May 14th, according to TMZ.
When the police arrived, they spoke with witnesses and the victim and decided to arrest Scantlin on domestic abuse charges.
One source confirmed that during the ordeal the singer was “very mouthy” and was apparently not cooperating with the authorities.
Scantlin is currently in custody and bail has been set at $20,000.
The singer has already been arrested this month on charges related to a cocaine case.
