Robert Pattinson might look like an upstanding member of the Hollywood community but he got in trouble with the Australian authorities this week according to reports.
Unfortunately for fans it wasn’t for indecent exposure or anything which involves him stripping, it was for not wearing a helmet when cycling.
Robert is in Australia working on his upcoming film.
The actor, who is currently shooting his new film The Rover down under, was cautioned by police after being photographed riding his bike through Adelaide without a helmet.
By law you are required to wear “an approved helmet that is properly adjusted and securely fastened.”
The actor is fond of wearing baseball hats, even at events.
R-Patz, who was only wearing a baseball hat at the time, escaped a fine ($90) and a victims of crime levy ($60). Instead he received a warning but was told that he would be fined if it happens again.
Police got in touch with the 26-year-old Twilight star’s team after they were alerted by his snap in the local paper.
