Robbie’s Wife Gives Him The Ultimatum: Gigs Or Me?

It's the question we'd say he was dreading... Robbie's under pressure as he has to choose between his music and his pregnant wife.

Robbie’s wife has given him the ultimatum, music or pregnant wife?

Well, more or less.

Robbie Williams has revealed his pregnant wife has told him to cancel his live gigs if she goes into labour.

But the British popstar has said he doesn’t want to let down his fans.

The singer told Radio 2 listeners they have had a minor “falling out” ahead of his shows in the coming days.

Robbie is relaunching his solo career after a reunion with his band Take That, but his wife Ayda us due to give birth to their first child in the next few weeks.

He joked he might fib about where he is going when he heads out for his shows.

“I’ve had a bit of a falling out with the wife,” Robbie told show host Chris Evans.

“I’ve got gigs this week. The baby could come at any minute. The wife has said if I go into labour ‘and you’ve got a gig say in Leeds or Dublin, you’ve got to cancel it and come home’.

He went on: “Do you think my audience will go ‘oh it’s okay, his wife’s pregnant – that’s fine.’ They won’t will they?”

Chris advised the star to make contingency plans. We think he’d know the inside story after experiencing his own mad dash this year as his wife Natasha went into labour while he was attending the Hay Festival.

“This is what I am going to do,” Robbie said, “I’m going to tell her there is a helicopter behind the gig in Dublin – but that’s expensive so I’m not really going to do it. I’m going to tell her that that’s there and I’m going to keep my fingers crossed.”

“The show must go on surely?” he added.

Ohhh, we don’t know Robbie! That’s a dodgy one!
