Robbie Williams opens up on sex life with wife Ayda – and he’s getting it all out

Robbie Williams has opened up about his marriage to Ayda Field, and gone into more detail than he needed to about their sex life. The couple have been married for 13 years and while they're still going strong, the Take That alum has revealed that the two don't have as much of a sex life as they once did. Robbie admitted that his sex drive has been down since he decided to quit testosterone injections after noticing they made his depression worse. He explained to The Sun: "The sex we had when I was on testosterone was incredible; it was all the time. We were insatiable. It goes to show how into each other we really are, though, because when I was on it, we couldn’t take our hands off each other." Due to the effect they had on his mental health and that he describes himself as "an addict", he decided to end his use of the supplement despite knowing it had positive side effects. "Everyone knows there is no sex after marriage. That’s just the way it is. I was on testosterone for a while but, because I’m an addict, that had to stop. I got these massive square shoulders and started to look like a doorman. It wasn’t a good look," Robbie said. Ayda then joined in, adding that they still have the same intimacy level and are "on the same page", as close as ever. She said: "Intimacy is the important, meaningful side of love. I have friends who feel obliged to have sex with their husbands and that must be awful."
