Irish football star Robbie Keane has revealed why he thinks he’ll never be LA Galaxy’s new sex symbol post-Beckham.
The reason? His pasty Irish complexion.
He insisted he is not in line to replace the now-departed David Beckham as the team’s pin-up player.
“With my Irish skin, I don’t think so. People might get a fright at how white I am,” Keane laughed.
Comparing himself to the former England skipper, the 32-year-old added: “I’ve got a few (tattoos) but not that many. I don’t think anyone has as many as he does.”
But Robbie said he will miss Beckham at the LA football club, but he said he’s had time to mentally prepare himself as they knew he was leaving for a while.
“Ah we knew he was going anyway. We’ve known for a while now.
“I always look forward to getting back into the swing of things. I’m looking forward to really getting into training with the lads. For me, it’s been a long break.”

Robbie returned to LA last week by himself as wife Claudine and son Robert Jnr stayed at home with the flu.
Meanwhile, the handsome Becks has headed to play with Paris Saint-Germain and has revealed he will donate all his salary to charity.
