The new host announced for America’s Next Top Model has made people furious

Following reports thatBody On Me singer Rita Ora quit ITV's The X Factor, many people were wondering what her circumstances were. The British performer hasn't released any new music since 2015 so the nosy parkers of us have been contributing rumours as to what area Rita Ora will try her hand at next and finally it has been revealed. In a rather bizarre move, Rita Ora has been confirmed as the new host of VH1's America's Next Top Model. Yes, really. According to USATODAY, Rita Ora will take over the main role of the iconic TV show from its original founder, Tyra Banks. Rita spoke of her delight at being the new helm of the reality show

"The approach I wanted to have as a host and judge to the girls is what my career stands for at this moment in time... Which is being a businesswoman and being able to do multiple things at the same time, whether it’s music or shooting (magazine covers) and being in movies and designing clothes.”

Rita will join a judging panel consisting of Ashley Graham, Drew Elliott and Law Roach but it's the handover of such an important role to the 25-year-old British singer that has left people confused. Given that Rita appeared on both The X Factor and The Voice UK, it makes sense that she would appear on another television show - however the personality and star quality that Tyra brought to the show has left America's Next Top Model fans raging with the new choice.
