Rita Ora has put up with a lot since her very public break-up with Calvin Harris so it comes as no surprise that she’s still a bit caught-up about the whole thing.
The singer appeared to make some back-handed comments about her former flame on stage at Radio 1’s Big Weekend.
Rita and Calvin split last year.
Speaking about her single I Will Never Let You Down, which was written by Calvin, the 24-year-old quipped: “You know when there is a song and no matter what happens the music still stands for itself.”
Later the star dished the dirt on her latest release Poison, which is largely rumored to be about her relationship with the Scottish DJ.
She told the Daily Star: “Poison was a long time coming for me being a 24-year-old girl and it’s about how I envision love and a time in my life when it was poisonous.
“It’s a really honest song for me as I do love a beer in the morning when I’m hungover or a Bloody Mary, but I wanted to say things that actually happened to me.”
The break-up resulted in Rita’s second album being delayed.
Following their split, Calvin banned Rita from using any of the music they produced together on her second album.
He has since moved on with pop star Taylor Swift who Rita described as “one of the most incredible songwriters of our generation.”
