Ireland’s Fair City hosted one of the world’s biggest stars at the weekend, but her visit still remains a mystery.
Popstar Rihanna was a surprise visitor to Dublin at the weekend, there was no tip-off as to her arrival and nobody has spilled the beans yet on the reason for her Irish city break.
The Barbados-born star checked into the five-star Merrion Hotel late on Friday night, but checked out again Sunday morning, just over 24 hours later.
Speculation has been rife that the singer was in Ireland for a recording session. She previously recorded the vocals to the worldwide hit Love The Way You Lie, in Temple Bar’s Sun Studios in 2010.
However, an industry source last night denied she had visited the Dublin studio and described the singer’s Dublin stopover as a “holiday visit”.
So RiRi’s choosing the cobbled streets of our humble capital for a holiday visit? Nice.
