Rihanna is officially a billionaire and we’re here for it

There's nothing Rihanna can't do, first her music, then her beauty line, she's unstoppable. So it's no wonder that Forbes magazine has just declared her an official billionaire. The signer can now add "wealthiest female musician in the world" to her long list of achievements, as well as "second richest female entertainer", coming just after Oprah Winfrey. According to Forbes, the Barbados native is worth a whopping $1.7 billion, which is around €1.4 billion. Rihanna has had a mega successful career in music with hits like Umbrella, Pon de Replay and Diamonds, she is now becoming even more known for her make up line Fenty Beauty which has blasted her to this status. The majority of her net worth comes from her brand, which only launched in 2017, and 50% of the shares being owned by the R&B artist. A lot of her wealth also comes from her stunning lingerie company Savage x Fenty which is worth an estimated $270 million, on top of her work in the entertainment industry too of course. The legendary singer and beauty mogul is set to shortly release her first ever perfume through her company Fenty, only adding to her reign over the beauty industry. Last week saw the Umbrella singer tease the latest product on social media. Rihanna posted two black and white photos on her Instagram account, and tagged Fenty Parfum in the description, leaving fans desperate for more details. But earlier this week the official Instagram page for Fenty Beauty shared a glimpse of the new bottle in a super short video. The caption reads: "Come bathe in it. #FENTYPARFUM combines sensual magnolia, vibrant fruit, and warm spice notes for a deeply intimate, unisex scent. "Get it on August 10 at fentybeauty.com."
