Rihanna has just been given a Government role in her home country of Barbados

It seems like there's nothing that Rihanna can't do! She's running her very own beauty empire, while also working on her career as a musician. Oh, and she's also been doing a bit of acting. Talk about a busy gal. Well, Rihanna can now add Government official to her CV! Queen RiRi has been appointed to a new government position in her home country of Barbados. She's now Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, "with specific responsibility for promoting education, tourism and investment for the island." Speaking about the incredible appointment, Rihanna said:

“I couldn’t be more proud to take on such a prestigious title in my home country."

"Every Barbadian is going to have to play their role in this current effort, and I’m ready and excited to take on the responsibility." "I look forward to working with Prime Minister Mottley and her team to reimagine Barbados." The Prime Minister of Barbados, Mia Amor Mottley, explained why Rihanna was chosen for the role. “Rihanna has a deep love for this country and this is reflected in her philanthropy, especially in the areas of health and education," she said.
