Seven seems to be Rihanna’s lucky number.
Just weeks after her 777 tour, where she visited seven countries in seven days and travelled on a Boeing 777, and now the controversial singer has posed for seven different magazine covers to celebrate, yup, her seventh album.
Each of the style magazine Complex’s covers were done to represent each of her past albums, right up to the most recent Unapologetic.
Anyone remember Rihanna’s poppy first albums Music From The Sun and A Girl Like Me? back when she was Jay Z’s fresh-faced teen performer…
The star’s transformation is evident as the album’s cover outfit’s range from a her earlier sweet, youthful style choices to her recent X-rated leather ensembles.
And the Bajan beauty might have left the interviewer a little red-faced as she refused to answer questions about on-off lover Chris Brown.
When asked why she made a record about it, the magazine reports she become ‘cold.’
Complex writes: “Her voice, usually warm and cut with chuckles, turns cold. ‘Pardon me?’ she replies, her eyebrow slightly raised.”
“Even after the question is repeated, she hesitates to answer. The hands that moved up and down throughout the conversation, suddenly fall flat.”
“It’s the truth. Remember?” the singer said.
But the star then got up to leave the interview:
“It’s a fun record that The Dream wrote and we loved the lyrics. You’re still asking me questions about it so clearly you don’t know.”
