Here’s what it covers..

Rebekah Vardy has trademarked the iconic phrase, “Wagatha Christie” months after losing her bitter high profile libel case against Coleen Rooney.

Vardy brought the case to court suing Coleen Rooney after she accused Vardy of leaking private information about her to a British newspaper.

The trial was labelled “Wagatha Christie” due to both women having famous footballer husbands.

According to The Scotsman, Saphia Maxamed, owner of London Entertainment, confirmed her firm has registered “Wagatha Christie” as a trademark on behalf of Rebekah Vardy.

The phrase was registered for trademark back in August.

It covers everything from broadcasting to beauty lotions, as well as jewellery, stationery and fashion design.

However, the trademark does not cover certain clothing and household items, that permission was denied.

Trademarking the phrase now means that anyone who wants to use the phrase “Wagatha Christie” commercially in the future must get permission and pay Vardy.

The failed court case racked up a whopping £1.7 million bill for Rebekah Vardy so this new income may help her to pay that off.

Almost four years ago, Coleen Rooney broke the internet by posting a lengthy statement in which she claimed that Rebekah Vardy leaked her private stories to the press.

She then alleged that Vardy told fake stories in private, and these stories ended up being leaked to the press.

The incident, which has been dubbed ‘Wagatha Christie’ led to the seven day libel trial.

The case was made into a Channel 4 series just months after the trial – Vardy V Rooney: A Courtroom Drama.

The two part series had Natalie Tena and Chanel Cresswell as Rebekah Vardy and Coleen Rooney.

Michael Sheen appeared in the series also as Coleen’s barrister David Sherborne while Simon Coury portrayed Rebekah’s legal representative Hugh Tomlinson.

Dion Lloyd appeared as Coleen’s husband Wayne Rooney while Márton Nagyszokolyai played Rebekah’s partner Jamie Vardy in the series.
