Turns out Rebekah Vardy and Coleen Rooney had a conversation about her Instagram earlier this year

As the row between Rebekah Vardy and Coleen Rooney continues, it's emerged that the two women spoke about Coleen's Instagram page earlier this year.

Rebekah has said that she confronted Coleen after she found that she'd been blocked by her on the app in March. Coleen, she said, insisted that it had been an accident and that there was not issue between them.

"I sent her a message and asked her: 'Have I done something, is there a problem here? I seem to be blocked on Instagram'," Rebekah told the Mail Online.

"And she said no, it was probably one of the kids messing about with her phone that had done it. She was completely convincing."

But a source close to Coleen said that she actually had blocked her on purpose  – and that it was when Rebekah asked about it that Coleen came up with her elaborate plan to prove Rebekah had been disclosing personal information about her to journalists.

On Wednesday, Coleen posted a statement claiming Rebekah had leaked information about her to The Sun newspaper. Coleen said that after getting suspicious, she had been putting fake information about herself on her Instagram stories and had blocked all of her followers from seeing them except for Rebekah in a bid to catch her out. Coleen said that she had screenshots that prove Rebekah was the only one who could have seen the information and shared it with journalists. Rebekah strenuously denied the accusation, saying others have had access to her social media accounts.
