Rebekah and Jamie Vardy have welcomed their third child together.

The footballer said he was "over the moon" as he confirmed the happy news on Saturday. "Over the moon to let you know our beautiful little girl has arrived," he said on Twitter. "Becky and baby are both doing well and we are all totally in love with the newest member of our team."

Rebekah and Jamie first announced they were expecting their third child together in August this year. The couple, who have been married since 2016, have two children together: four-year-old Sofia and two-year-old Finley. Rebekah is also mum to 13-year-old Meghan and nine-year-old Taylor, her daughter and son from a previous relationship. And the four of them shared the news of their sibling's impending arrival with a series of message boards. "Oh no! They can't be serious. The adventure continues," the message read, with Finley holding another board that said: "I am so cute. Mummy and Daddy wanted another!" The series of boards ends with an ultrasound scan, which was captioned: "Coming soon..."
