Rachel Bilson Shares The First Glimpse of Daughter Briar Rose

She's named for a Disney Princess and if her parents' lifestyle is anything to go by it looks as though little Briar Rose is all set to live the dream.  Hollywood couple Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen welcomed their first child in October. Since then, the new parents have shied away from sharing pictures of their daughter on social media - although they have given fans a glimpse of adorable baby outfits and shoes, nodding to their new life as mum and dad.

Over the weekend, Bilson shared the first picture of baby Briar Rose, enjoying a special moment with her daddy. Rachel, who starred in The O.C. and Hart of Dixie, posted the snap of her little girl spending some time with her Star Wars actor dad Christensen while on a family outing in the park. The tiny tot was sporting a floral hat and resting her little hand on her daddy's leg as he blew bubbles to keep her entertained. Speaking last year, Bilson said: "I've always wanted to be a mom." "I have always wanted kids. I can just see this little toddler waddling around the house."

Bilson and Christensen met on the set of Jumper in 2007 and became engaged in 2008.
