It’s been one of the most long-awaited celebrity weddings of the past few years and it looks as though Brad Pitt is going to put a ring on Angelina Jolie for once and for all.

Yes, according to reports today, the couple have finally set a date for their nuptials and it could be as soon as this summer!

The A-list couple are already rumoured to have asked their friends and family to keep the last week of May free. These dats coincide with the completion of the renovation of their Chateau mansion in the South of France, which is where the couple are reportedly planning to swap their vows.

Brad and Angelina are also thought to have chosen this time of year because it falls directly after the end of the Cannes Film Festival. This would ensure that the ceremony is convenient for many of their guests, who will be in France for the festival anyway.

“Everything is pointing towards the end of May or the beginning of June,” said a local source, speaking to Grazia magazine.

“Their renovations are due to finish any day now and builders have been working around the clock to complete it in time. Plus all of Brad and Angelina’s closest friends in the industry will be in town for Cannes,” the source added.

Apparently Brad has also been asking around the local area for details on children’s entertainers, causing speculation that a major celebration will be happening at the couple’s home soon.

Brad has always been open about feeling the pressure from their six children to marry Angelina.

“Angelina and Brad’s wedding day will be all about their children,” said the source.

“Brad has been enquiring about musicians, fire-eaters and jugglers and wants to put on a fantastic show. The village is buzzing with excitement,” the source added.
