They may have cancelled their wedding before but this celebrity couple are now determined to walk up the aisle, even if the bride gets pregnant again.
Celebrity gossip website RadarOnline.com reports that Jessica Simpson and her beau, Eric Johnson, have decided that they will marry this year, even if Jessica ends up with a bun in the oven. They had to cancel their original wedding date after they found out that Jessica was up the duff again unexpectedly.
Now the couple have decided that they’ll pencil in a date for one month after Jessica gives birth to the baby boy she’s currently expecting. We reckon it’s a smart move pencilling it in rather than using a pen (especially after what happened the last time they were due to get hitched).
Anyway, according to reports this morning, the couple want a quiet, low-key summer wedding in Hawaii and have already looked at a few venues there.
“Jessica and Eric are adamant they want to wed this year,” said a source close to the Simpson family.
“Before they found out Jessica was expecting her second child, they’d already set the wheels in motion for a low-key ceremony. But then, they had to put their plans on ice when they discovered Jessica was pregnant. Plus she wanted to avoid a clash with her best pal, CaCee Cobb, who had a wedding back in December,” the source added.
Jessica is determined to say her vows this year
Apparently, Jessica and Eric were spotted scoping out a few local spots on the island of Hawaii when they were there during Christmas. The couple also asked about the possibility of holding a ceremony there this summer.
“They’re not completely against exchanging their vows in Los Angeles either, but would prefer to do it anywhere else other than their own home,” said the source.
Jessica and Eric’s wedding plans have been all over the shop ever since Jess found out she was pregnant again and her father was involved in a ‘gay scandal’ Stateside.
