Professor Green Causes Havoc with Insensitive Bulimia Tweet

The British rapper causes a major fan backlash as he tweets insensitive comments about the eating disorder.

Rapper Professor Green caused outrage on Twitter at the weekend by calling bulimia an “intelligent” eating disorder.

The British artist availed of his 140 character typing space to tweet, “Bulimia is an intelligent eating disorder.”

He added;

“It would be easier to just chew food and spit it out but still, you get to eat whatever you want and stay skinny.”

Green’s Twitter followers were disgusted by his insensitive comments and reacted strongly to his vile words on the social network.

His message reached a total of 1.2 million followers. Many of his fans know the artist for his uncensored and controversial tweeting.

A barrage of replies were sent back to the star from his fans, branding his opinion “sick and disgusting.”

It was only then Professor Green attempted to defend himself, saying he wanted to find a way of not getting fat while holidaying in New York.

Professor Green, real name Stephen Manderson, is dating the super-slim Made In Chelsea reality television show star Millie Mackintosh. We’re wondering what his girlfriend thinks about his immature online opinion sharing.

This isn’t the first time Professor Green has been accused of insensitivity towards eating disorders. His song At Your Inconvenience includes the crude lyrics;

“I’m the anecdote to that s**t, bringing back strap s**t, as soon as I’m done calling this bulimic a fat bitch.”

Let’s hope the rapper learns from his fans’ backlash, some things are better left unsaid Professor Green.
