Poor Kate? BBC Presenter Latest to Criticise Duchess!

First an award-winning author and now a BBC television presenter...

Sandi Toksvig is the latest public figure to speak out about the Duchess of Cambridge.

The 54-year-old presenter revealed during a recent interview that Kate Middleton “is not enough” for her.

BBC presenter Sandi doesn’t seem to be a big fan of Kate.

She told the Observer: “We used to admire women who got their place in life through marriage and having children, but I like to think we’ve grown up a bit.”

The News Quiz host went on to say that the pregnant royal doesn’t have any opinions: “I can’t think of a single opinion she holds – it’s very Jane Austen.” (Now there’s no need to bring Jane into it!)

She used singer Cheryl Cole as a means of comparison.

She then compared her to a Girls Aloud star: “Cheryl Cole is one of the few incredibly famous people who still seems to say what they think.”

The interview comes only a matter of weeks after Booker prize winner Hilary Mantel spoke out about Kate who we have to admit we feel for.

After all we’re not sure her in-laws would be too happy about her speaking out about certain things!
