PICTURE: Look Who’s Boss! Duchess Of Cambridge Takes The Driving Seat

KATE THE GREAT.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’re sure to have seen the many photos of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, together with their adorable son Prince George, during their tour of New Zealand and Australia.

Last week we saw how Duchess Kate was delighted to beat her husband in a yacht race and this week she’s taking the lead in the cockpit of a twin-seat US $67 million F/A-18F Super Hornet fighter plane.

William apparently asked his wife “Do you fancy jumping in the back?” but Kate was having none of this and she climbed into the front seat of the plane, located at an air base near Brisbane.

Stephen Chappell, Commanding Officer of Number 1 Squadron, whose pilots fly the Super Hornet said Kate was fascinated by the “dials and gadgets” on the fighter aircraft.

He revealed there was some “bi-play between the two as to who was sitting in what seat”.

A woman after our own hearts is Kate!
