There have been claims recently that Macaulay Culkin was having a problem with some prescription painkillers, which was vehemently denied by his reps but if there is any truth to the rumours, moving in with Pete Doherty might not help.
Doherty has moved the former child actor into his abode in Paris, according to reports, so the pair can embark on a bohemian lifestyle together. Now, we hear you, this is a strange one but reportedly the pair are pretty good friends.
Originally introduced through mutual musician friend Adam Green, according to the Sun, Doherty and Culkin became involved with his film about ketamine, The Wrong Ferrari.
A source close to the friends commented: “Macaulay and Pete may seem an odd couple but they’ve got loads of interests and life experiences in common. They bonded over their love of poetry and art. Macaulay can’t get enough of listening to Pete waxing lyrical about his painting and music.”
Apparently, Macaulay is also helping Pete to get his acting career off the ground. Culkin apparently amassed a personal fortune of 11 million dollars from acting, but has promised to never return.
Not the healthiest of situations maybe…
