We’re not sure why, but it seems that when a young actress or singer bursts onto the scene she is automatically compared to other women in the business.
Whether it’s her characters, her sound or her looks, a new actress or singer will always be known as ‘the new madonna’ or ‘the new Cameron Diaz’.
That said, we can actually see where people are coming from with the comparisons between Jennifer Lawrence and relatively new Haley Bennet, who is starring in Girl on the Train.

Haley Bennet has appeared in plenty of other films including Marley and Me and The Magnificent Seven but her role as Megan in The Girl on the Train will certainly make her one to watch.
