Pedro Pascal has called out the Harry Potter author
Actor Pedro Pascal has called out Harry Potter writer J.K. Rowling over her ‘heinous’ anti-trans views.
Following the UK Supreme Court’s anti-transgender ruling, the author posted a photo of her ‘celebrating’ online.
The ruling means transgender women would not be recognised as women under Britain’s Equality Act.
She posted a photo of herself smoking and drinking on holiday with the caption, ‘I love it when a plan comes together.’
Rowling reportedly financially supported the For Women Scotland group, which brought the legal challenges to the Supreme Court.
The author has been slated over her anti-trans views with many famous faces calling her out, including Pedro Pascal.

The Last Of Us actor has proudly supported the trans community for years.
Pascal’s sister, Lux, came out as transgender in 2021, so the community is gravely important to the actor.
He has often been vocal about the importance of supporting and protecting the trans community, something Rowling is continuously damaging with her harmful views.
Pascal slated her views on Instagram under a video by activist Tariq Ra’ouf.
He wrote, “Awful disgusting SH– is exactly right. Heinous LOSER behavior.”
His comments come after the actor was pictured wearing a ‘Protect the Dolls’ t-shirt at the London premiere for Marvel’s Thunderbolts*.
The t-shirt was designed by Conner Ives as part of a campaign to protect and support trans women.
Rowling’s remarks and anti-trans views should never be tolerated. Pescal said it perfectly when he stressed that all the trans community wants is to simply live.
“I can’t think of anything more vile and small and pathetic than terrorizing the smallest, most vulnerable community of people who want nothing from you, except the right to exist.”
