The car Paul Walker was travelling in when he died was travelling at approximately 90mph, when it lost control and crashed, according to law enforcement agencies investigating the accident.

It has been confirmed that dangerous driving, rather than mechanical problems, caused the crash which killed Walker and his friend Roger Rodas.

According to a report by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and California Highway Patrol, the Porsche was going at a speed of between 81 mph and 94 mph when it lost control after coming out of a curve.

Investigators said that the vehicle had no mechanical failure and the damage that occurred was because of the collision.

The conclusion about the speed was due to a “yaw” mark on the road that the car’s tire left on the road in an area of industrial office parks in Santa Clarita, about 30 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles.

Rodas was Walker’s financial adviser but the two had formed a close relationship due to their love of fast cars.
