Jedward may have thousands of fans and may be raking in the money, however a new survey has found that the twins are the celebs who are most likely to give Irish people a headache.
A new study conducted by Nurofen for Headache Awareness Week discovered that John and Edward Grimes give one in every five Irish people a splitting pain in the noggin. But it’s not just Jedward who are making our heads hurt.
17 per cent of Irish people said that Katherine Lynch makes them get tense in the head area, while 14 per cent stated that Twink was a major headache trigger for them. Other celebrities blamed with causing headaches included the Dublin Wives, Brendan O’Connor and Joe Duffy.
Katherine Lynch is also guilty of causing headaches
Headache Awareness Week runs from the 16th to the 23rd of March and it was launched in order to help educate people on the different types and causes of headaches. It also aims to provide advice to people on how you can relieve the pain so it has a minimum impact on your life.
As part of the campaign, Nurofen has developed a special ‘headache soother’ app. The app is designed to help you understand the specific symptoms associated with headaches and to offer solutions to help you manage the pain. The app includes a special soothing sound feature and a video that outlines some simple physiotherapy stretches to help get rid of pain and help you relax.
The app is free and you can download it from the App Store and the Android Market. For more information about Headache Awareness Week visit Neurofen’s website by clicking here or ask about it in your local pharmacy.
