Party Like Paltrow! Gwyneth’s Got A New Business Plan…

The Sunset Strip just got a little less seedy... and a little more "Goop".  Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow has purchased the famous Hustler Hollywood store, with plans to turn it into a private club. Paltrow, most recently seen on screen in Mortdecai alongside Jonny Depp, has paired up with long -time business partner Gary Landesburg to purchase the property from porn publisher Larry Flynt. The pair plan to transform the venue into an Arts Club, similar to one that already exists in London. Of course it won't be for the mere mortals amongst us, with membership tipped to be far more expensive than the London Arts club fee of £2,000 to join and €2,000 per year. So what can you expect from this club? Well, not getting sweaty on a dance floor and shots at the bar - that's for sure. The London club the venue is set to be modelled on boasts a fine-dining restaurant, events like poetry readings and a strict no-swearing/no-betting policy.
