Just last week, the 57-year-old attended the SAG Awards in Los Angeles, where she was nominated for Best Actress for her role in The Last Showgirl.
Pamela looked stunning on the red carpet as she opted to go bare-faced, with many fans praising her ‘refreshing’ take.
It’s a look she is familiar with lately, as she opted for a similar look at the BAFTAs and Paris Fashion week.
The former Baywatch star has been hailed as an inspiration for normalising ageing and being make-up free.
The reason why the media personality opts to go fresh-faced is a heartbreaking one.
Pamela previously confessed to Elle that when her long-time make-up artist, Alexis Vogel, sadly passed away from breast cancer, she decided to strip down her beauty routine.
“She was the best. And since then, I just felt, without Alexis, it’s just better for me not to wear makeup,” Pamela shared, adding that it has been ‘freeing’ and ‘fun’ to forego her makeup routine and embrace the beauty and privilege of ageing.
“[It’s] a little rebellious too. Because I did notice that there were all these people doing big makeup looks, and it’s just like me to go against the grain and do the opposite what everyone’s doing.
“I think we all start looking a little funny when we get older. And I’m kind of laughing at myself when I look at the mirror. I go, ‘Wow, this is really…what’s happening to me?’ It’s a journey. I feel rooted for. I feel good. I’m in a good place.”
This is something that has fuelled an important conversation, with many fans and social media users commending the actress’ for being someone in the public eye who is ’embracing aging gracefully’.
