Paloma Faith has criticised Ellie Goulding’s decision to provide a song for the soundtrack to Fifty Shades Of Grey.
The hit song ‘Love Me Like You Do’ is currently in the top 10 singles in the UK charts, but Paloma said she wouldn’t have provided a song for the soundtrack.
In an interview with The Sun newspaper, Paloma said:
“I found it offensive and degrading. If they’d have asked me to do the soundtrack I would have said no.
“Luckily, they didn’t.”
Paloma later attacked Taylor Swift, labelling the 25-year old “pathetic” for trademarking some of the lyrics on her album ‘1989’:
“Is she that desperate to stand out from the crowd? With her exclusive phrases? It’s kind of pathetic if you want my honest opinion.”
We’re taking it there’s no love lost there then…
