We have a new picture of baby Archie!
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have shared an image of the newborn’s feet poking out from under a blanket in honour of Mother’s Day in the US – and Meghan Markle’s first as a mum.
It also features Meghan’s hand; we’d know that pristine Shellac anywhere.

“Paying tribute to all mothers today – past, present, mothers-to-be, and those lost but forever remembered. We honour and celebrate each and every one of you,” the caption reads.
“This is the first Mother’s Day for The Duchess of Sussex.”
The Sussexes also shared a quote from ‘lands’, a poem by Nayyirah Waheed.
“my
mother
was
my first country;
the first place i ever lived.”
The choice of image and quote reflect Meghan’s input into how her family’s PR is handled and could even suggest that she could be running the couple’s Instagram account herself.
We hadn’t been sure when we’d get another glimpse of the newest member of the royal family.
Royal correspondent Richard Fitzwilliam said earlier this week that Meghan and Harry were predicted to do things a little differently to Kate Middleton and Prince William.
Fans can “expect fiercely guarded privacy” at all times when it comes to Archie, he said, so there won’t be many sightings of the youngest member of the royal family as a baby.
“There will obviously be periodic photographs on special days such as birthdays,” he noted.
