Ozzy Sets Record Straight About Divorce Rumours

Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne have been married for 31 years but that didn’t stop the rumour mill from going into overdrive when they were both spotted without their wedding rings recently.

But now the Black Sabbath rocker has decided to put an end to all the speculation and say why he and Sharon have been spending some time apart.

 

Sharon and Ozzy have one of the longest marriages in showbiz.

He wrote on his Facebook page: “For the last year and a half I have been drinking and taking drugs. I was in a very dark place and was an a*****e to the people I love most, my family.

“However, I am happy to say that I am now 44 days sober… Just to set the record straight Sharon and I are not divorcing. I’m just trying to be a better person.”

The rocker is said to be focusing his energies on the band at the moment.

He added: “I would like to apologize to Sharon, my family, my friends and my band mates for my insane behaviour during this period……. And my fans.”

A spokesperson for the couple also denied reports they were having trouble: “They’ve both got huge work commitments. She is at the hotel for work and he is starting his Black Sabbath tour. The marriage is not on the rocks.”
