She’s the mathematical genius who has carved out a successful TV career that has spanned over 20 years, but it seems that Carol Vorderman can now add clumsy to her list of attributes.
The petite presenter is known for her love of killer heels and should be a bit of a pro in them by now, but slipped and fell in her stilettos when she was running down a flight of stairs.
Carol had just attended a business meeting and decided on a whim to use the stairs instead of the lift and reportedly placed her hands in her pockets because she was cold. She then slipped and fell face first into the corner of a wall.
An ambulance and Carol’s boyfriend Graham Duff, 37, were called and the mum-of-two was rushed to hospital, where her broken nose was re-set and cuts to her eyelids and forehead were treated.

Speaking to The Daily Mail she said, “I’m feeling okay but because I had my hands in my coat pockets, I had nothing to break my fall except my head. I really do look like I’ve done eight rounds with Muhammad Ali.
“I am just counting my blessings that I didn’t damage my skull or the left eye itself… feel like a complete idiot.”
The 52-year-old presenter has been forced to cancel all TV appearaces for the next couple of weeks, while she recovers from her injuries.
