Orange Is The New Black star Alicia Witt’s parents found dead in home

Orange Is The New Black star Alicia Witt has revealed that her mum and dad were found dead in their home. The 46 year old said she asked a relative to check on her parents, 75 year old Diane and 87 year old Robert, after she started to get concerned when she hadn't heard from them in a few days. She then confirmed that her cousin went to check in on them, only to discover their passing. In a statement reported by Worchester Telegraph and Gazette, Alicia said: "I reached out to my cousin who is close to my parents to check on them. Sadly the outcome was unimaginable. "I ask for some privacy at the time to grieve and to wrap my head around this turn of events, and this surreal loss." Police are now investigating the circumstances around their deaths, saying there is no obvious cause of death at the moment and "there was no trauma." Their deaths are not being treated as suspicious. Carbon monoxide poisoning has also been ruled out as a cause of death by the fire department after discovering that the couple had been experiencing issues with their furnace and had been using a space heater. Now being referred to a medical examiner, there is set to be autopsies performed on the couple. A neighbour has also come forward to say they hadn't been seen outside their home in a while and believes they were unwell for a while.
