One Direction star Liam Payne has issued an apology saying that they have a “lot of growing up to do”, following his bandmates’ apparent use of drugs.
Video footage emerged from the Mail Online recently of 1D members Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson smoking a rolled up cigarette.
“So here we are, leaving Peru. Joint lit. Happy days!” Louis says in the clip, believed to be shot on the North American leg of their 2014 tour.
Liam, Niall Horan and Harry Styles are nowhere to be seen in the video and it is presumed they were travelling in a separate vehicle.
“I love my boys and maybe things have gone a little sideways I apologise for that” Liam tweeted to fans. “We are only in our 20’s we all do stupid things at this age”.
We all have a lot of growing up to do in an extreme circumstance I’m not making excuse but it’s fact we are gunna fall short somewhere
