OMG! This is what Love Actually II’s Hugh Grant and Martine McCutcheon look like…

OK, so it's pretty much the most exciting sequel of recent memory: Love Actually 2.0.

And now Martine McCutcheon has - thankfully! - shared a snap of her and Hugh Grant... the fictional duo who famously played Natalie and David in the 2003 classic movie. Taking to Instagram, 40-year-old actress Martine captured a special on-set moment - and one which also features director, writer, and producer Richard Curtis.

Of course, Hugh Grant famously played the UK prime minister in the original flick some 14 years ago, with Martine McCutcheon taking on the role of his adorable love-interest. Thankfully, if social media posts are anything to go by, it seems that the duo are very much still happy, besotted, and together for the sequel - which is being filmed for Comic Relief.

The largely unexpected Love Actually reboot sent fans into a frenzy when it was announced late last year. And a load of stars have already confirmed their return. As well and Hugh and Martine, Keira Knightley, Andrew Lincoln, Lucia Moniz, Liam Neeson, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Olivia Olson, Bill Nighy, Marcus Brigstocke, and Rowan Atkinson are all taking part. Unfortunately, Emma Thompson (aka 'Karen') has made the decision not to revive her character. Meanwhile - tragically - actor Alan Rickman, who played Emma's on-screen husband, Harry, passed away last year. The sequel will be just ten minutes long, but we reckon every minute will be all sorts of small-screen glory. It is being filmed for Comic Relief and will air later this month.   Red Nose Day Actually will broadcast as a part of BBC One's Red Nose Day coverage on March 24.
