Olivia Wilde addresses her “twin” moment at the Met Gala

Olivia Wilde has addressed the moment she showed up at the Met Gala this year in the same dress as Margaret Zhang. The actress wore a stunning white Chloé dress which featured a gold violin motif, designed by Gabriela Hears. The dress itself was inspired by Karl Lagerfeld's 1983 design during his time with the brand, which is also where Margaret got her inspiration. Margaret's take on the dress contrasted Olivia's as hers was black with a bronze design. Taking to Instagram, Olivia posted a collage of herself, Margaret and the original Chloé dress on her story, writing: "Great minds.” “If you’re gonna twin with anyone, make it @margaretzhang." Margaret then re-shared the post, adding: "QUE THE STRINGS.” The Met Gala saw an array of Karl Lagerfeld-inspired designs on Monday night, with the theme being Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty. Dua Lipa wore a 1992 Chanel bridal dress originally worn by Claudia Schiffer while Nicole Kidman donned the dress she first wore during a 2004 Chanel No.5 advert. Naomi Campbell arrived in a Chanel Haute Couture spring/summer 2010 gown and Margot Robbie's look was remade from a Chanel dress worn by Cindy Crawford on the runway in 1993. Gisele Bündchen wore a Chanel Haute Couture 2007 gown from a shoot at Karl's home while Kristen Stewart wore a Chanel Resort 2017 suit at the ball.
