Aretha Franklin has revealed she is working with Outkast star Andre 3000 on her upcoming covers album, saying it’s “going to be fun”.
The ‘Respect’ singer is planning on releasing a covers album, featuring Franklin’s interpretations of legendary songs by other female artists.
Speaking to Billboard about the project, the soul singer said:
“I’m pretty sure it’s going to be fun working with Andre 3000, just watching his videos and things. It should be fun. And, of course, they all come with great music, so I expect that.”
Andre 3000 will co-produce four tracks on the album due for release in September.
