Her character is known for being unlucky in love on the small screen and now Catherine Tyldesley’s real-life romance is over as well.
The Coronation Street star, who plays feisty Eva Price on the soap, has just broken up with her fitness instructor boyfriend Sam Witter.
Catherine is single again after breaking up from her toyboy beau.
According to The Sun the split was to do with the actress wanting more space but other reports are claiming the couple started rowing after she revealed that she wanted to settle down and have children.
But it’s not just their relationship that they have to think about. They also own a company together, Dream Partners Limited. Apparently they were planning on releasing a series of fitness DVDs later this year.
The actress has become a Corrie favourite.
And while the break-up is said to be amicable, it seems it has taken its toll on Catherine already. This morning she wrote on Twitter: “I need a holiday. Pronto. #sunshineplease.”
We have to admit we like her post-split thinking!
