Television duo Ant and Dec have admitted that they have taken drugs in the past.
The usually clean-cut Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly made the revelation, along with a few others, during a recent interview.
The duo rose to fame at a very young age thanks to teenage drama Byker Grove.
They told The Guardian that they had taken drugs but that they preferred alcohol.
Ant explained: “Years ago, yeah, but we’re not really druggy people. I think you either go into that crowd as a kid or you don’t, and we didn’t. We found the love of alcohol very early on and we stayed with it.”
Ant and Dec are two of television’s most-loved and successful stars.
The popular presenters, who are famous for doing shows including Britain’s Got Talent as well as Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, also admitted that they thought their careers were over after the television phone-in scandal.
And while we’re not sure what some fans will make of their most recent confessions, we can’t see these two falling out of favour with the public any time soon!
