Made in Chelsea star Lucy Watson has penned a dating guide, which she says is a guide to 21st century dating, relationships and break-ups.
While Lucy is known as an ice queen on screen, she wants fans of the reality show to see she has a softer, sensitive side, and hopes her book, The Dating Game will help with this.
24-year-old Lucy told Mail Online: “I haven’t seen any book out there for girls, it’s ridiculous. I’ve had quite a few relationships at a young age and I wish I’d had someone to give me advice. My book is like an older sister.”
Although she appears confident on the show, The Dating Game allows Lucy to open up about her personal life and heartbreak caused by previous relationships.
“I have stayed in horrendous relationships,” said Lucy. “I’ve endured years of crying, losing weight, low confidence and ruined myself. I wish I had been stronger.”
The book will hit shops on May 22 and as well as opening up about her personal love life, Lucy offers her tips on finding love.
“A guy should always approach a girl and desperation is the biggest turn-off ever. Meet a guy somewhere other than in a club, you can’t hear what they’re saying and they’re only interested in what you look like.
“Less is definitely more and caked on make-up is not attractive.”
With these pearls of wisdom, Lucy hopes to ensure that “none of us will ever be played ever again” and the reality star says that she wishes someone had told her about dating rules instead of having to learn for herself.
Love or hate her character, we’re pretty sure there will be plenty of girls reading what she has to say about the dating game!
