If you were hoping to witness a major courtroom bust-up between Kim Kardashian and her former hubby, Kris Humphries, we have some disappointing news for you this evening. A judge has just denied a motion to allow cameras in the courtoom for Kim’s divorce trial.

Celebrity gossip website RadarOnline.com reports that Kim has been adamantly opposed to having her divorce trial televised, however a motion was submitted to Judge Scott Gordon after numerous media outlets stated that they wanted to broadcast the proceedings.

Kim, who was mortified at the thoughts of having her divorce trial broadcast across the globe, is reported to be very relieved with the judge’s decision and we can’t say we blame her.

The divorce trial is due to begin on May 6th and just in case you’re a little lost, here’s brief summary of what’s happening.

Basically Kris Humphries wants an annulment on the grounds of fraud. He claims that the entire marriage was a sham. The only way that Kris will receive his annulment is if Kim admits that their marraige was for fame purposes only, but she’s denying this and states that she was genuinely in love with Kris when she married him.

It is likely that Kim will still be married to Kris by the time she gives birth to her first child that she’s currently expecting with Kanye West.

We imagine that this is one divorce trial that’s going to feature a serious amount of drama. We’re actually a little surprised that Kris Jenner, Kim’s momager, hasn’t gotten involved and demanded that the entire thing be shown as a three-hour-long special on telly…
