Nineties television star Sara Gilbert is set to walk down the aisle as she revealed this week that she is engaged to Linda Perry.
The Roseanne actress has been dating the singer-songwriter for over two years and the couple are now taking their relationship to the next level.
Sara played Darlene in comedy series Roseanne.
Sara told her fellow The Talk panellists (it’s a US daytime show by the way) about the good news as well as the somewhat intricate proposal.
“So we go to a park, we have food and we’re eating it and this musician starts playing this song that we love… I’m like this is so magical and amazing.”
Linda popped the question to Sara during a picnic.
She continued: “And I’m thinking if I ever proposed to her this would be a great place… and then the couple next to us start pulling out string instruments… Then she goes to her backpack and she pulls out these t-shirts.
“The first one says ‘will,’ the next one says ‘you,’ the next ‘marry,’ the next ‘me’ and the last one was a question mark so I say ‘Well yea, if you’re that spectacle.’”
