A viral video captured the moment the dancer quickly fled the dance floor after a disappointing performance in the Blackpool Tower Ballroom.

The actor looked visibly upset as the judges pointed out flaws in his performance, with many viewers claiming their comments were too harsh.

Nigel managed to avoid Sunday's dance-off but still looked pretty disheartened during the results show.

The 'EastEnders' star has since broken his silence after fans expressed their concerns about him.

He started the week with a guided meditation on his Instagram.

"We are continuing our focus on emotions this week. Today’s meditation explores how practising gratitude regularly can help cultivate a more positive mindset and increase feelings of well-being and contentment," the actor said.

He encouraged his followers to focus on what they're grateful for.

"Don’t overthink it, it doesn’t need to be deep, it can be family, friends, or a favourite walk or mug. Just something that brings a little smile or comfort. Bring this image or person to mind and notice how it feels in the body, using curious, kind attention," he added.

The actor was favourite to win 'Strictly Come Dancing' but has been heavily criticised by the judges, week after week.

Some viewers believe the judges are being too hard on the actor, but others believe mistakes should be pointed out.
